Let’s face it, cost is the major barrier to dental care in New Zealand. Because we are trying to expand our practice in a competitive environment, an in-house Dental Savings Plan (DSP) can help to attract new patients. In a DSP, members pay a set annual fee. They basically become “members” of our practice. In return for the fee, they receive a specified number of cleanings, examinations, and x-rays, as well as discounts on expensive procedures.

The benefit for patients is that in-house DSPs are often less expensive than traditional dental insurance. Meanwhile, our practice attracts patients who otherwise might not receive treatment – retirees, self-employed, and uninsured people. Your earnings under a DSP are the same, or maybe even higher, than they are for procedures on in-network insured patients. Everyone comes out ahead because we’ve cut out the middleman.

Dentiq Smile Club is designed to provide affordability and great access to quality dental care.

With your Dentiq Membership Plan, there are:

• No yearly maximums (unless stated)
• No deductibles
• No claim forms
• No pre-authorisation requirements
• No pre-existing condition limitations
• Immediate eligibility (no waiting periods)

BASIC SAVINGS PLAN: Benefit Premiums

*The dual plan is for a parent/child or husband/wife/partner. Requirement is from 18 years upwards.
**The family plan include family members and children who are over 18 years.
(A child must be between 18-23 years of age, living with parents as a dependant at the time of entering into plan).

1. Emergency appointment, guaranteed within 24 hours, plan price $75
2. Emergency appointment, guaranteed within 48 hours, plan price $50
   (Normal emergency call out fee of $100 will be waived as well)
3. Problem focused exams, unlimited usually $65, plan price $55
4. Professional Home Whitening Kit, usually $395 per kit, plan price $150
5. Professional Custom-made Mouth Guard usually $250, plan price $200
6. Bite/ Night Guard/ Clear Aligner Retainers usually $600, plan price $400
7. If choose 3 or more additional options discount will increase from 5% to 7%

Programme Exclusions and Limitations

The programme is a discount plan, it cannot be used:

• In conjunction with another dental plan
• For services for injuries covered under Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC)
• For treatment, which in the sole opinion of the treating dentist or doctor, lies outside the realm of their expertise
• No discount with any other payment cards
• For referrals to specialists
• For hospitalisation or hospital charges of any kind
• For conjunction with coupons, cash discounts, or any other deals
• This plan is only honoured at Dentiq. This savings plan is not an insurance plan, it cannot be used with any other dental office.

Programme Guidelines

• No other discounts apply
• Membership is non-transferable or for re-sale
• Cannot be used with any other dental plan
• Non refundable – No returns of premiums will be issued at any time if participant decides not to utilise dental plan
• Patient’s portion of bill is due day of service

You will not receive a membership card. Your plan details will be held on file with our office.
